HELP Project - Hearing Effectiveness Leadership Program
Scott Aronstein, President of Connectivity Source, will announce the start of Connectivity Source’s HELP Project at a Mayor’s Press Conference Thursday, May 10, 2007.

Aronstein will confirm that H E L P, Hearing Effectiveness Leadership Program, is a clear demonstration of Connectivity Source’s belief that Houston area businesses have a corporate responsibility to contribute to the welfare and well being of area residents. Further, Aronstein will confirm that the compatibility issue of hearing aids and cell phones was a natural area of concern for Connectivity Source to make a major public commitment and effort.

It is presently estimated that there are 28 -32 million people with hearing loss, and approximately 8 million using hearing aids in the United States. This market is growing exponentially as the “Baby Boomer” generation reaches old age. Aronstein will state, “As we are all aware, wireless phones are becoming more and more important in our everyday lives – for business, keeping in touch with friends, family and safety. Hearing aid users want to enjoy and participate in utilization as an equal with compatibility.”

Connectivity Source is one of the largest Sprint/Nextel Dealers with operations located in both Texas and Louisiana. Connectivity Source is known for it’s progressive business approach as an acknowledged leader in the field, and its personnel training which results in excellent consumer satisfaction and relationships.

Connectivity Source will provide free of charge a cell phone, presently either a Samsung 640 or a Motorola IC 402, with appropriate hearing aid compatible Federal ratings that should meet the needs of a majority of the hearing aid users residing in the area. In addition, Sprint activation fees will be waived for all HELP Project clients.

Please see the attached HELP Project document for a complete description of the project.
